Failure of electric actuators at different stages

Many people have no way to solve when the electric actuator fails. Although it is related to the precision of the electric actuator, it is mainly because the faults of the electric actuator in different stages of use are different. This leads to the complexity of the repair process.

Initial use of electric actuators:

In the early stage of the use of electric actuators, because the equipment needs a run-in period to the environment, of course, the causes of failures during this period are also diverse. There are also many reasons usually caused by the model, structure, installation, and use methods. For example, electric actuators with small torques will affect the speed of the equipment or may not run normally.

Medium-term use of electric actuators:

In this time, since the electric actuator has passed the running-in period of the equipment, it can adapt to the current working environment. Most of the failures are due to the failure of the internal parts of the electric actuator, such as the wear of the contactor, current converter, voltage converter, micro-switch of the electric actuator.

Late use of electric actuators:

When the electric actuator is used later, the operating performance is unstable due to the inevitable aging factors such as the reduction of the coil insulation performance of the electric actuator. The internal parts lack lubrication, and friction during operation increases the wear of the electric actuator. For these problems, staff should regularly perform maintenance.
