The most widely defined actuator is a kind of driving device which can provide linear or rotary motion. It uses a certain driving energy and works under a certain control signal. There are three basic types of driving modes: part-turn, multi-turn and linear. Part-turn electric actuator mainly controls valves requiring partial rotation, such as ball valve, butterfly valve, etc. Multi-turn electric actuator is used for valves requiring multiple turns, such as gate valve, etc.
